CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1592 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A MAJOR MODIFICATION TO PUD-90-10~ PALOMINO PLACE, AS FILED~NDER CASE PUD-90-10-2M WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 20, 1990, Council adopted Ordinance No. 1489, approving the rezoning and development plan for a 24 unit townhome development to be constructed on an approximately 1.8 acre site located at 600 Palomino Drive; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Administrator approved Case PUD-90-10-2M, the application of Joseph W. Callahan for a minor modification to the approved development plan for Palomino Place to make architectural changes to the exterior building elevations, to modify the roof material from concrete tile to composition shingles, and to make changes to the landscape plan; and WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal Code, the City Council of Pleasanton appealed the decision; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)- High Density Residential District; and WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt (Class 3) from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Council on April 6, 1993, at which time all pertinent testimony and documents were reviewed; and WHEREAS, the City Council determined that the minor changes made by the developer to the Palomino Place townhouse development were major but would not significantly alter the approved PUD plan. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the application of Joseph W. Callahan for a modification to the approved development plan for Palomino Place to make architectural changes to the exterior building elevations, to modify the roof material from concrete tile to composition shingles, and to make changes to the landscape plan, subject to the conditions on Exhibit "B", attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.
