CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1585 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE <br /> CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF pLRASANTON AND <br /> THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION OF THE CALIFORNIA <br /> PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: That an amendment to the contract between the City of <br /> pleasanton and the Board of Administration, California <br /> Public Employees' Retirement System is hereby authorized, <br /> a copy of said amendment being attached hereto, marked <br /> Exhibit A, and by such reference made a part hereof as <br /> though herein set out in full. <br /> <br />Section 2.: The City Manager of the City of Pleasanton is hereby <br /> authorized, empowered, and directed to execute said <br /> amendment for and on behalf of said agency. <br /> <br />Section 3: A summary of this ordinance shall be published once <br /> within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Tri- <br /> Valley Herald," a newspaper of general circulation <br /> published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete <br /> ordinance shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the <br /> City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> Section 4: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton on December 1, 1992. <br /> ADOPTED at a special meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton on January 26, 1993 by the following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Mohr, Pico, Scribner, and Mayor Tarver <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> C~~C.
