CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1585 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF pLRASANTON AND THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION OF THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That an amendment to the contract between the City of pleasanton and the Board of Administration, California Public Employees' Retirement System is hereby authorized, a copy of said amendment being attached hereto, marked Exhibit A, and by such reference made a part hereof as though herein set out in full. Section 2.: The City Manager of the City of Pleasanton is hereby authorized, empowered, and directed to execute said amendment for and on behalf of said agency. Section 3: A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Tri- Valley Herald," a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its adoption. Section 4: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final passage and adoption. INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton on December 1, 1992. ADOPTED at a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton on January 26, 1993 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers - Mohr, Pico, Scribner, and Mayor Tarver NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None C~~C.
