CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1724 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br /> WILLIAM CURRIN FOR A PUD MODIFICATION TO <br /> CHANGE THE LAND USE FOR THE BERNAL ADOBE, AS <br /> FILED UNDER CASE PUD-85-15-9M <br /> <br />WHEREAS, William Curtin has applied for a major modification to an approved planned unit <br /> development to change the land use designation for the structure commonly known <br /> as the Bernal Adobe located at 1780 Foothill Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Low Density <br /> Residential District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the alternative land use falls within the scope of the previously approved <br /> environmental documentation for the site and, therefore, no environmental <br /> document accompanies this report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendation for approval of the <br /> modification; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on September 16, 1997; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds the proposed use is consistent with the General Plan and <br /> complementary to the overall Golden Eagle Farms PUD; <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application of William Curfin for a major modification to an <br /> approved planned unit development to change the land use designation for the <br /> structure commonly known as the Bemal Adobe located at 1780 Foothill Road to <br /> single-family residential use, subject to the conditions set forth in Exhibit A, <br /> attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after <br /> its adoption in "The Tri-Valley Herald," a newspaper of general circulation <br /> published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be posted for <br /> fifteen (15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
