CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1724 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF WILLIAM CURRIN FOR A PUD MODIFICATION TO CHANGE THE LAND USE FOR THE BERNAL ADOBE, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-85-15-9M WHEREAS, William Curtin has applied for a major modification to an approved planned unit development to change the land use designation for the structure commonly known as the Bernal Adobe located at 1780 Foothill Road; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Low Density Residential District; and WHEREAS, the alternative land use falls within the scope of the previously approved environmental documentation for the site and, therefore, no environmental document accompanies this report; and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendation for approval of the modification; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on September 16, 1997; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds the proposed use is consistent with the General Plan and complementary to the overall Golden Eagle Farms PUD; THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the application of William Curfin for a major modification to an approved planned unit development to change the land use designation for the structure commonly known as the Bemal Adobe located at 1780 Foothill Road to single-family residential use, subject to the conditions set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. Section 2: A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Tri-Valley Herald," a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its adoption.
