CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1738 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTERS 18.08 <br /> (DEFINITIONS), 18.28 (AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT), 18.32 <br /> (ONE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS), 18.36 <br /> (MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS), 18.40 <br /> (OFFICE DISTRICT), 18.44 (COMMERCIAL DISTRICTS), <br /> 18.48 (INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTS), 18.52 (ROCK, SAND AND <br /> GRAVEL EXTRACTION DISTRICT), 18.56 (PUBLIC AND <br /> INSTITUTIONAL DISTRICT) AND 18,104 (HOME <br /> OCCUPATIONS) OF THE PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL <br /> CODE TO ADD REGULATIONS FOR FIREARM SALES, TO <br /> CHANGE THE REGULATIONS FOR GUNSMITHS, AND TO <br /> CHANGE THE MINIMUM OFFICE SPACE REGULATIONS <br /> FOR OFFICE USES IN THE INDUSTRIAL PARK DISTRICT <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Chapters 18.08 (Definitions), 18.28 (Agricultural District), 18.32 (One-Family <br /> Residential Districts), 18.36 (Multi-family Residential Districts), 18.40 (Office <br /> District), 18.44 (Commercial Districts), 18.48 (Industrial Districts), 18.52 (Rock, <br /> Sand and Gravel Extraction District), 18.56 (Public and Institutional District) and <br /> 18.104 (Home Occupations) of the Pleasanton Municipal Code are mended to <br /> read as set forth in Exhibit 1, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: Nonconforming fireann sales uses with zoning certificates approved prior to the <br /> effective date of this Ordinance shall be given one year from the effective date of <br /> this Ordinance to comply with regulations as set forth in Exhibit 1. <br /> <br />Section 3. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this Ordinance is <br /> for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of <br /> competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining <br /> portions of this Ordinance. The City Council declares that it would have adopted <br /> each section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion thereof irrespective of <br /> the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses, phrases or <br /> portions be declared invalid or unconstitutional. <br /> <br /> <br />
