CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1736 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br /> JANET BURTON FOR PUD PLAN APPROVAL AS FILED <br /> UNDER CASE PUD-97-13 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Janet Burton has applied for Planned Unit Development (PUD) plan approval to <br /> construct an approximately 1,750 square foot single-family dwelling and related <br /> site improvements on an approximately 0.50 acre site located at 570 Sycamore <br /> Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - A (Agriculture) <br /> District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared and certified for the North <br /> Sycamore Specific Plan, and the California Environmental Quality Act specifies <br /> that individual residential development projects that are prepared pursuant to the <br /> requirements of an adopted specific plan, for which an EIR has been prepared and <br /> certified are exempt from additional environmental review; therefore, no <br /> environmental document was prepared for this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for approval of the <br /> PUD plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on January 20, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed development plan is consistent with the <br /> General plan, the purposes of the PUD ordinance, and the North Sycamore <br /> Specific Plan. <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves Case PUD-97-13, the application of Janet Burton for Planned Unit <br /> Development (PUD) plan approval to construct an approximately 1,750 square foot <br /> single-family dwelling and related site improvements on an approximately 0.50 acre site <br /> located at 570 Sycamore Road, subject to the conditions shown on "Exhibit B", attached <br /> hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
