18.08.105 Co-location: <br /> <br /> "Co-location" means when more than one personal wireless service facility owned <br /> or used by more than one personal wireless service provider is sited on a single building, <br /> tower, monopole. or other supporting structure. <br /> <br /> 18.08.110 Commercial Mobile Services: <br /> <br /> "Commercial mobile services" means a category of services which encompass all <br /> mobile telecommunications services that are provided for profit, are interconnected with <br /> the public switched telephone network, and make service available to the public or to <br /> such classes of eligible users as to be effectively available to a substantial portion of the <br /> public. The one common element of all commercial mobile services is that they use a <br /> radio frequency or channel instead of a wire to communicate to and from one or more <br /> devices which is mobile, such as pager or cellular phone. The definition of commercial <br /> mobile services includes fixed/local loop services. <br /> <br /> 18.08.125 Coverage Area: <br /> <br /> "Coverage area" means the geographical area that is served by an antenna which <br /> transmits and receives radio frequency signals. <br /> <br /> 18.08.135 Direct-To-Home Satellite Services: <br /> <br /> "Direct-to-home satellite services" means the distribution or broadcasting of <br /> programming or services by satellite directly to the subscriber's premises without the use <br /> of ground receiving or distribution equipment, except at the subscriber's premises. <br /> <br /> 18.08.395 Personal Wireless Service: <br /> <br /> "Personal wireless service" means commercial mobile services and unlicensed <br /> wireless service. For the purpose of this definition, radio towers, and television towers <br /> are not considered personal wireless services. Common examples of personal wireless <br /> services are personal communications services (PCS), cellular radiotelephone service, and <br /> paging. <br /> <br /> 18.08.400 Personal Wireless Service Facility: <br /> <br /> "Personal wireless service facility" means an unstaffed facility, generally <br /> consisting of transmitters, antenna structures, and other types of installations which <br /> receive and transmit radio frequency signals for the provision of personal wireless <br /> services including support structure, ancillary equipment cabinet or structure, and related <br /> equipment. <br /> <br />RZ-97-7 Pag~ 23 <br />5/19/98 <br />RZ977A8A.sam/RKE <br /> <br /> <br />
