CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1769 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE <br /> DE SILVA GROUP FOR PREZONING AND DEVELOPMENT <br /> PLAN APPROVAL AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-96-14 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the DeSilva Group has applied for prezoning to PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br /> - LDR (Low Density Residential) District and development plan approval to allow <br /> 91 single-family homes on approximately 46 acres located between Foothill Road <br /> and Interstate 680 adjoining the Foothill Knolls subdivision to the south and the <br /> Foothill Farms subdivision to the north; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is Unincorporated; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative declaration was adopted by <br /> Council on December 1, 1998; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for approval of the <br /> prezoning and development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on December 1, 1998; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the development and rezoning are consistent with the <br /> General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the prezoning of the site to PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Low <br /> Density Residential District. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the <br /> City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby <br /> amended by Zoning Unit Map #442, attached hereto as Exhibit "A", dated <br /> December 1, 1998, and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
