CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1768 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTERS 2.28, 2.36 AND <br /> 2.38 OF THE PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE FOR THE <br /> PURPOSE OF CHANGING THE NAME OF THE <br /> AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMISSION TO THE <br /> HOUSING COMMISSION <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Section 2.28.030 of Chapter 2.28, Human Services Commission, of the Pleasanton <br /> Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "2.28.030 Appointment <br /> <br /> The members shall be appointed by the Mayor, as provided in the adopted City Council <br /> resolution establishing procedures for appointments to Boards and Commissions. <br /> A. Five members and the alternate shall be appointed from the community-at-large; <br /> <br /> B. Two liaison members shall be appointed from other City commissions or boards <br /> as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. One member from the Park and Recreation Commission; and <br /> <br /> 2. One member from the Housing Commission." <br /> <br /> Section 2: Section 2.36.030 of Chapter 2.36, Housing Authority Commission, of the <br /> Pleasanton Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "2.36.030 Housin_~ Authority_ Commission <br /> <br /> A. Establishment. There shall be a Housing Authority Commission of the <br /> Housing Authority of the City of Pleasanton consisting of seven members <br /> to be called the Housing Authority Commission. Five at large members <br /> shall be the at-large members of the Housing Commission and two <br /> members shall be residents of projects operated by the Housing Authority, <br /> one of whom shall be 62 years of age or older." <br /> <br /> <br />
