CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1766 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br /> JERRELL THOMAS TO CREATE A BUILDABLE <br /> SINGLE-FAMLY RESIDENTIAL LOT AND FOR <br /> CONSTRUCTION OF ONE TWO-STORY HOME, AS FILED <br /> UNDER CASE PUD-98-10 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Jerrell Thomas has applied for Planned Unit Development plan approval to create <br /> a buildable single-family residential lot approximately 1.25 acres in size and for <br /> construction of one approximately 5,000 square foot two-story home located at <br /> 8093 Bethel Lane; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - LDR (Low Density <br /> Residential) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the initial Environmental Study, a negative declaration was adopted by <br /> Council on November 17, 1998; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for approval of the <br /> Planned Unit Development; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on November 17, 1998; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed Planned Unit Development plan to create <br /> a buildable single-family residential lot conforms to the purposes of the PUD <br /> District and is consistent with the City's General Plan. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves Case PUD-98-10, the application of Jerrell Thomas for Planned Unit <br /> Development plan approval to create a buildable single-family residential lot <br /> approximately 1.25 acres in size located at 8093 Bethel Lane, subject to the <br /> conditions set forth in Exhibit "B", attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of Determination to be filed pursuant to <br /> Section 5.4(g) of Resolution No. 77-66. <br /> <br /> <br />
