CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1771 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON FOR REZONING, AS FILED <br /> UNDER CASE RZ-98-08 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has initiated a rezoning of two parcels of land <br /> (approximately 15.3 acres) located on the north side of Rose Avenue generally <br /> referred to as Nolan Farm (1015, 1027, and 1500 Rose Avenue) from the <br /> R-1-6,500 District to the PUD-MDR (Planned Unit Development - Medium <br /> Density Residential) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative declaration was adopted by <br /> Council on December 1, 1998; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for approval of the <br /> rezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on December 1, 1998; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the rezoning is consistent with the General Plan. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the rezoning of the two parcels of land (approximately 15.3 acres) <br /> located on the north side of Rose Avenue generally referred to as Nolan Farm <br /> (1015, 1027, and 1500 Rose Avenue) from the R-1-6,500 District to the <br /> PUD-MDR (Planned Unit Development - Medium Density Residential) District. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the <br /> City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby <br /> amended by Zoning Unit map #443, attached hereto as Exhibit "A", dated <br /> December 1, 1998, and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of Determination to be filed pursuant to <br /> Section 5.4(g) of Resolution No. 77-66. <br /> <br /> <br />
