CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1757 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br /> MARRIOTT SENIOR LIVING SERVICES FOR PLANNED <br /> UNIT DEVELOPMENT REZONING AND DEVELOPMENT <br /> PLAN APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-98-04 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Marriott Senior Living Services has applied for Planned Unit Development <br /> rezoning and development plan approval for a senior living facility consisting of <br /> 142 rooms (167 beds) for assisted living units, Alzheimer units, and skilled nursing <br /> units located at 3534-3622 Old Santa Rita Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-C (Central Commercial) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative declaration was adopted by <br /> Council on July 21, 1998; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for approval of the <br /> rezoning and development plan approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on July 21, 1998; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the rezoning and development plan are consistent with <br /> the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the rezoning of the site located at 3534-3622 Old Santa Rita Road to <br /> PUD (Planned Unit Development) - O (Office) District and the development plan <br /> for a senior living facility consisting of 142 rooms (167 beds) for assisted living <br /> units, Alzheimer units, and skilled nursing units, subject to the conditions shown in <br /> Exhibit "B", attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the <br /> City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby <br /> amended by Zoning Unit Map #439, attached hereto as Exhibit "A", dated July 21, <br /> 1998, and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
