Discussion ensued relating to turning this project over to the Downtown Task Force to evaluate, effects <br />of denying the rezoning, effects of the Downtown Specific Plan on this project, and clarification of uses <br />for this building. <br /> <br />Commissioner Kumaran made a motion to deny Case RZ-99-04. Commissioner Arkin seconded the <br />motion. <br /> <br />There is no additional discussion. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Kumaran, seconded by Commissioner Arkin, to deny Case <br />RZ-99-04. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br /> <br />AYES: Commissioners Arkin and Kumaran <br />NOES: Commissioner Maas and Chairperson Roberts <br />ABSENT: Commissioners Kameny and Sullivan <br />ABSTA1N: None <br /> <br />Chairperson Roberts noted that this item will be continued to the October 27, 1999 meeting for decision <br />due to the split vote. <br /> <br />(Recess taken from 9:10 p.m. to 9:20 p.m.) <br /> <br />PUD-98-15, Mardel, LLC/Costas <br />Application for a PUD development plan approval for a residential subdivision of an existing <br />4.17-acre site, including six building sites, a public equestrian/pedestrian trail, public streets, and <br />land area set aside for the future alignment of Vineyard Avenue. The property is located at 2503 <br />Vineyard Avenue between Vineyard Avenue and the Shadow Cliffs Regional Recreation Area. <br />Zoning for the property is PUD )Planned Unit Development)-LDR (Low density residential <br />District). The Planning Commission will also consider the Negative Declaration prepared for the <br />application. <br /> <br />Continued to October 27, 1999. <br /> <br />PUD-99-03, William Kolb~ Donna Miller, and Gene and Carol Strom <br />Application for a PUD pre-zoning and PUD development plan approval for a residential <br />subdivision consisting of 12 single-family custom lots, open space, and public park uses, and <br />public street and infrastructure improvements located on approximately 55.4 acres; and a senior <br />care facility located on approximately 5.22 acres. The overall project site is tmincorporated and <br />is located at 11393 Dublin Canyon Road.
