- JULY 16, 1999 MINUTES <br /> <br />Commissioner Maas amended the last sentence of paragraph 2, page 10, to read as follows: "She noted <br />that she is confident that the Commission can certify the EIR as it is presented, with the addition of a <br />clause requiring subsequent study relating to the contaminated soil, with ample public input, and <br />condition the project with the date of when the inspection should take place and when it should be <br />concluded." <br /> <br />The minutes were approved as amended. <br /> <br />JULY 28, 1999 MINUTES <br /> <br />Chairperson Kumaran amended the first paragraph under "Matters Initiated By Commission Members" <br />(page 7) as follows: "Chairperson Kumaran noted that when the issue of Commissioners' compensation <br />was raised at a Commission meeting in July 1999, he stated it would be of value for the Commission to <br />ask the Council to consider grading credits for extra meetings that the Commissioners attend." <br />Chairperson Kumaran amended the last sentence of that paragraph by changing the word "Then" to <br />"Than." <br /> <br />Commissioner Kumaran amended the motion on Page 8 to read as follows: "A motion was made by <br />Chairperson Kumaran, seconded by Commissioner Kameny, that a recommendation be submitted to the <br />City Council to consider granting credits for extra meetings attended by commission members." <br /> <br />Commissioner Maas amended the last sentence of paragraph 7 on page 4 to read as follows: "Further, <br />she stated that the applicant's occupation and background were a plus in deciding to approve the <br />application in that the customers would be dealing only with the applicant himself, and that the business <br />meets' the location requirements of the ordinance with acceptable distances to residences and parks." <br /> <br />The minutes were approved as amended. <br /> <br />AUGUST 11, 1999 MINUTES <br /> <br />Commissioner Roberts amended the last paragraph on page 7 to read as follows: "Commissioner <br />Roberts inquired as to whether or not the speed limit on Vineyard Avenue was suppose to be reduced <br />prior to any Vineyard Corridor construction. <br /> <br />Chairperson Kumaran amended the last sentence of paragraph 3 on page 2, by deleting the words "even <br />if he is not present." <br /> <br />The minutes were approved as amended. <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES Page 2 August 25, 1999 <br /> <br /> <br />
