-- ROLL CALL VOTE <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Commissioners Cooper, Maas, Sullivan, Roberts, and Chairperson Kumaran <br />None <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />Resolution No. PC-99-03 was entered and adopted as motioned. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Cooper, seconded by Commissioner Roberts, to adopt a <br />resolution recommending approval of Case Z-98-296, an application for a certificate of <br />appropriateness to demolish the existing building and an application for design review approval to <br />construct at 39 room hotel, subject to the conditions shown in "Exhibit B," as amended to include <br />the construction hours being from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Commissioners Cooper, Maas, and Roberts <br />Chairperson Kumaran and Commissioner Sullivan <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />The motion passed on a 3-2 vote. <br /> <br />Resolution No. PC-99-04 was entered and adopted as motioned <br /> <br />Chairperson Kumaran noted that his opposition to the motion is due to his desire for consideration of no <br />ingress/egress from Main Street for traffic. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Maas, seconded by Commissioner Roberts, to adopt a <br />Resolution recommending approval of Case SPA-98-03 to the City Council, amending the <br />Downtown Specific Plan to allow three-story buildings subject to meeting certain design criteria as <br />shown in Exhibit "C," and forwarding the proposed amendments to the City Council for review <br />at a public hearing. <br /> <br />ROLLCALLVOTE <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Commissioners Cooper, Maas, Roberts and Chairperson Kumaran <br />Commissioner Sullivan <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />The motion passed on a 4-1 vote. <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MiNUTES Page 7 January 27, 1999 <br /> <br /> <br />
