4. REVISI~INS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Mr. Pavan requested that the Commission consider reordering the agenda to hear Item 7.a., <br />Joseph and Marieela Barone, prior to the workshop. The Commission agreed. <br /> <br />7. PUBLIC H~ARINGS <br /> <br />~IDB.94. JoNoh and Maricela Barone <br />Application for design review approval to allow the construction of a permanent parking <br />area for Bamnes restaurant located on 475 and 493 St. John Street between the residence <br />and the Arroyo Del Valle. Zoning for the prop~ty is C-C (Central Commercial) District. <br /> <br />Mr. Pavan presented the staff report. He provided the history of the approval for the construction <br />of the parking lot, noting that the previous approval had lapsed. He advised that the only <br />difference in the conditions of approval from the previous approval is that staff is recommending <br />that the design review lapsing condition be increased to two years. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED <br /> <br />Jo~ Barone, 493 St. John Street, advised that because the major renovation of their home came in <br />over budget, they were unable to complete the permanent parking area for their restaurant. He <br />noted that they have pursued the surveying and are in the process of hiring an engineer. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED <br /> <br />C0mmimioner Kameny made a motion to approve Case PDR-94, subject to the conditions <br />in Exhibit "B.' WORKSHOP <br /> <br />]~DB-74. Electrical Power Generation Facility (by Unl~d American Enerav] <br />Application for the development of a 45 MW electrical generation facility on one acre of <br />land leased from Kiewit Pacific Company located at 3300 Busch Road (on the southern <br />portion of the property). The facility would utilize a natural gas-fired combustion turbine <br />to generate electricity. The facility would be unstaffed and would operate from 6:00 a.m. <br />to 10:00 p.m. on most days of the year.
