Mr. Callahan, speaking for the applicant, noted he would not be in favor of returning with a new <br />PUD due to the costs incurred for this project and the work previously performed on the project. <br />He also indicated that the applicant would be willing to provide a visual analysis of the project <br />for the Planning Commission's review. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED <br /> <br />Commissioner Maas suggested continuing this item for two weeks to allow the applicant to <br />provide a visual analysis. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sullivan spoke in favor of a new PUD being submitted. <br /> <br />Commissioner Malmrose spoke in favor oftbe project being reduced with the house not meeting <br />the setback requirement being a single-story home. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Sullivan, seconded by Commissioner Arkin, to deny <br />Case PUD-98-1-1M and Tract 7030 and recommend to the City Council that staff be <br />directed to take the necessary steps to revert the six lots to acreage. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Arkin and Sullivan <br />NOES: Commissioners Maas and Malmrose and Chairperson Roberts <br />A~SENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: Commissioner Kameny <br /> <br />The motion failed on a two-to-three vote. <br /> <br />Commissioner Mass moved to continue this hearing to allow for provision of a visual analysis <br />and geo~echnical study. <br /> <br />Commissioner Arkin requested a new staffreport be provided addressing easement issues and <br />how the project can be conditioned. He further suggested this item be continued as a two-step <br />process at the July 12, 2000 and July 26, 2000 meetings. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sullivan requested that staff address issues relating to the whipsnake habitat. <br /> <br />A motian was made by Commissioner Maas, seconded by Chairperson Roberts, that Item <br />No. 6.d. be continued to the July 12, 2000 and July 26, 2000 meetings. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Arkin, Maas, Malmrose, and Sullivan and Chairperson <br /> <br /> Roberts <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: CommissionerKameny <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES June 28, 2000 Page 14 <br /> <br /> <br />
