May 10. 6:00 n.m. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission invited the City Council to attend its May 10 workshop concerning <br />energy conservation. Commissioner Sullivan distributed a handout of some of the material <br />which will be discussed. <br /> <br />City of Pleasamton's resuonse to the Draft EIR for North Livermore <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the City's policy as it relates to Pleasanton's review of other cities' <br />EIRs. The City Council assured the Planning Commission that it does indeed comment on such <br />EIRs when relevant and suggested the Planning Commission could also review such documents. <br />The North Livermore Specific Plan EIR is the type of EIR the City Council will routinely <br />review, and it was suggested the Planning Commission could review it first. <br /> <br />Issues Concernimz Aunlication Review Timeframe <br /> <br />The Planning Commission and City Council then briefly reviewed the timeframes for processing <br />projects. Councilmember Dennis indicated that she had been hearing that some projects were <br />taking a long time and felt all - staff, Planning Commission, and City Council - should lry to be <br />expeditious. All agreed to try to do better. Commissioner Kameny raised the issue of notices.
