Resolution No. PC-99-27 <br />Page 11 <br /> <br />45. Building and situs plans are to be submitted to the Building Department on computer disk <br /> in a format approved by the Director. Digitized information shall be submitted before <br /> requesting a final inspection and should reflect as-built situs and architectural information <br /> as approved by the Director. <br /> <br />Fire <br /> <br />46. <br /> <br />The applicants shall install an automatic fire sprinkler system for the existing education <br />building and the proposed classroom addition. The sprinkler system shall be shown on <br />the plans submitted for issuance of building permits and shall be subject to review and <br />approval by the Fire Chief and Director of Building Inspection prior to issuance of a <br />building permit. <br /> <br />47. <br /> <br />Unless otherwise approved by the Fire Marshall, the applicants shall install a fire alarm <br />system for the education building. <br /> <br />48. <br /> <br />The applicants shall post address numerals on the building so as to be plainly visible from <br />all adjoining streets or driveways during both daylight and night time hours. <br /> <br />49. <br /> <br />The development shall meet all requirements of the Pleasanton Fire Code (Chapter 20.24 <br />of the Pleasanton Municipal Code). <br /> <br />50. The site shall be kept free of fire hazards from the start of construction to final inspection. <br /> <br />51. <br /> <br />Trash enclosures which are sized to contain dumpsters with an individual capacity of 1.5 <br />cubic yards located within five feet of combustible walls, openings, or combustible roof <br />eaves shall be provided with an automatic fire sprinkler system. <br /> <br />52. <br /> <br />The applicants shall ensure that fire protection facilities, including all surface roads, fire <br />hydrants, and a water supply capable of furnishing the required fire flow shall be installed <br />and serviceable prior to and during the time of construction. When alternate methods of <br />protection are as approved by the Fire Chief, this requirement may be waived or <br />modified. Proposed alternative methods of fire protection shall be submitted, in writing, <br />to the Fire Chief. Work on the alternative fire protection methods shall not start without <br />the approval of the Fire Chief. <br /> <br />53. <br /> <br />Engineering <br /> <br />The applicants shall submit a final grading and drainage plan prepared by a licensed civil <br />engineer depicting all final grades and on-site drainage control measures, including <br />concrete-lined V-ditches, to protect all cut and fill slopes from surface water overflow. <br />This plan shall be subject to the review and approval of the City Engineer and/or the <br />Director of Building Inspection prior to the issuance of any building permits. <br /> <br /> <br />
