Resolution No. PC-99-27 Page 11 45. Building and situs plans are to be submitted to the Building Department on computer disk in a format approved by the Director. Digitized information shall be submitted before requesting a final inspection and should reflect as-built situs and architectural information as approved by the Director. Fire 46. The applicants shall install an automatic fire sprinkler system for the existing education building and the proposed classroom addition. The sprinkler system shall be shown on the plans submitted for issuance of building permits and shall be subject to review and approval by the Fire Chief and Director of Building Inspection prior to issuance of a building permit. 47. Unless otherwise approved by the Fire Marshall, the applicants shall install a fire alarm system for the education building. 48. The applicants shall post address numerals on the building so as to be plainly visible from all adjoining streets or driveways during both daylight and night time hours. 49. The development shall meet all requirements of the Pleasanton Fire Code (Chapter 20.24 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code). 50. The site shall be kept free of fire hazards from the start of construction to final inspection. 51. Trash enclosures which are sized to contain dumpsters with an individual capacity of 1.5 cubic yards located within five feet of combustible walls, openings, or combustible roof eaves shall be provided with an automatic fire sprinkler system. 52. The applicants shall ensure that fire protection facilities, including all surface roads, fire hydrants, and a water supply capable of furnishing the required fire flow shall be installed and serviceable prior to and during the time of construction. When alternate methods of protection are as approved by the Fire Chief, this requirement may be waived or modified. Proposed alternative methods of fire protection shall be submitted, in writing, to the Fire Chief. Work on the alternative fire protection methods shall not start without the approval of the Fire Chief. 53. Engineering The applicants shall submit a final grading and drainage plan prepared by a licensed civil engineer depicting all final grades and on-site drainage control measures, including concrete-lined V-ditches, to protect all cut and fill slopes from surface water overflow. This plan shall be subject to the review and approval of the City Engineer and/or the Director of Building Inspection prior to the issuance of any building permits.
