PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-99-26 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR <br />THE APPLICATION OF LYNNEWOOD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, AS <br />FILED UNDER CASE Z-98-342/UP-99-04 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Lynnewood United Methodist Church has applied for design review and <br />conditional use permit approvals to allow construction of a one-story, <br />approximately 6,800 square-foot building addition for classroom space, <br />construction of an approximately 2,500 square-foot addition to the existing <br />sanctuary building for office space, remodel of the existing education building, <br />including one-story additions totaling approximately 400 square feet, and related <br />site improvements located at 444 Black Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated <br /> March 1, 1999, and received the recommendations of staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 14, 1999, the Planning Commission received a proposed <br /> negative declaration prepared for the proposed project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the <br /> opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with <br />the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed project would not have a <br /> significant environmental impact; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission further finds that the proposed project will have no <br /> potential for adverse impacts on the site's wildlife. <br /> <br /> <br />
