PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-99-23 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION F1ND1NG THAT THE CITY OF PLEASANTON'S ACQUISITION OF <br />25.98 ACRES 1N SOUTH PLEASANTON IS CONSISTENT WITH THE <br />PLEASANTON GENERAL PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton is proposing to acquire fee title to 25.98 acres of property in <br />South Pleasanton located south of the intersection of Alisal Street and Happy <br />Valley Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property is pre-zoned Planned Unit Development - Golf Course (PUD-GC); <br /> Planned Unit Development - Agriculture/Open Space (PUD-A/OS) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its duly noticed meeting of March 10, 1999, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />city staff concerning this matter; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the acquisition of the property is exempt from the California Environmental <br />Quality Act (CEQA) because the impacts of the golf course development/open <br />space dedication were previously analyzed in the EIR prepared for the Happy <br />Valley Specific Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Commission finds that the City of Pleasanton's acquisition of 25.98 <br />acres of property in South Pleasanton located south of the intersection of Alisal <br />Street and Happy Valley Road is consistent with the Pleasanton General Plan. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. Finds that the City of Pleasanton's acquisition of 25.98 acres of property in South <br /> Pleasanton located south of the intersection of Alisal Street and Happy Valley Road is <br /> consistent with the Pleasanton General Plan. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption unless <br /> appealed prior to that time. <br /> <br /> <br />
