PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-99-19 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR THE APPLICATION OF GEORGE MARMENT, <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-98-22 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />George Marment has applied for (1) a rezoning of an approximately 3,764 square <br />foot portion of an approximately 11,915 square foot parcel from the PUD-HDR <br />(Planned Unit Development-High Density Residential) District to the PUD-O <br />(Planned Unit Development-Office) District; (2) rezoning of the remaining 8,151 <br />square feet of the same parcel from the O (Office) District to the PUD-O (Planned <br />Unit Development-Office) District; and (3) a PUD development plan approval to <br />construct a two-story, approximately 4,240 square foot office building located at <br />201 Old Bernal Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated <br /> January 29, 1999, and received the recommendations of staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 24, 1999, the Plarming Commission received a <br /> proposed negative declaration prepared for the proposed project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the <br /> opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with <br />the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed project would not have a <br /> significant environmental impact; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission further finds that the proposed project will have no <br /> potential for adverse impacts on the site's wildlife. <br /> <br /> <br />
