Resolution No. PC-99-07 <br />Page 13 <br /> <br />66. <br /> <br />The project shall provide access to all building roofs to the satisfaction of the Fire <br />Chief. Truck ladder access shall be provided at two points, not on the same <br />building elevation, using fire apparatus existing or to be in possession of the City <br />Fire Department by the time of building occupancy. Access may include use of <br />fixed ladders from a fifth-floor balcony to the roof if the buildings are designed at <br />"life safety buildings" pursuant to Section 18 of the Uniform Building Code. <br /> <br />67. <br /> <br />The applicants shall provide 45 fi. inside/55 fi. outside turning radii along the <br />parking lot drive aisles. Details of the parking lot turning radii shall be shown on <br />the plans submitted for issuance of building permits and shall be subject to review <br />and approval by the Fire Chief prior to issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br />68. <br /> <br />The applicants shall post address numerals on the building so as to be plainly <br />visible from all adjoining streets or driveways during both daylight and night time <br />hours. <br /> <br />69. <br /> <br />The development shall meet all requirements of the Pleasanton Fire Code (Chapter <br />20.24 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code). <br /> <br />70. <br /> <br />The site shall be kept free of fire hazards from the start of construction to final <br />inspection. <br /> <br />71. <br /> <br />Approval of the final number, type, and location of fire hydrants shall be subject to <br />the approval of the Fire Chief and the City Engineer. <br /> <br />72. <br /> <br />Trash enclosures which are sized to contain dumpsters with an individual capacity <br />of 1.5 cubic yards located within five feet of combustible walls, openings, or <br />combustible roof eaves shall be provided with an automatic fire sprinkler system. <br /> <br />73. <br /> <br />The applicants shall ensure that fire protection facilities, including all surface <br />roads, fire hydrants, and a water supply capable of furnishing the required fire flow <br />shall be installed and serviceable prior to and during the time of construction. <br />When alternate methods of protection are as approved by the Fire Chief, this <br />requirement may be waived or modified. Proposed alternative methods of fire <br />protection shall be submitted, in writing, to the Fire Chief. Work on the alternative <br />fire protection methods shall not start without the approval of the Fire Chief. <br /> <br /> <br />
