PLANNiNG COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-99-05 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDiNG APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE <br />DOWNTOWN SPECIFIC PLAN, AS FILED UNDER CASE SPA-98-03 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Red Bear, Inc., has applied for a Downtown Specific Plan Amendment to permit <br /> the construction of three-story buildings; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of January 27, 1999, the Planning Commission, after considering all <br />public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this proposal, recommended approval of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Commission determined that three-story buildings in the Downtown <br />would be acceptable if the proposed building meets the design criteria established <br />for three-story buildings. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNiNG COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWiNG: <br /> <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of Case SPA-98-03, the application of Red Bear, Inc. for a <br /> Downtown Specific Plan Amendment to allow new or remodeled three-story <br /> buildings, on a case-by-case basis, subject to Exhibit "C," attached hereto and made <br /> part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 27TH DAY OF JANUARY 1999 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Commissioners Cooper, Maas, Roberts, and Chair Kumaran <br />Commissioner Sullivan <br />None <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
