PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-99-02 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE <br />PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE TO MODIFY THE PROCESS FOR REVIEWING <br />SECOND UNITS, AS FILED UNDER CASE RZ-98-03 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Pleasanton Planning Commission at its September 9, 1998 meeting considered <br /> a proposed ordinance which modified the process for reviewing second units; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission directed staff to review the proposed ordinance further <br /> and make additional modifications; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its duly noticed public hearing of January 13, 1999 the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning the amendment to the Municipal Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Commission determined that the proposed modifications would <br />streamline the review process, while continuing adequate controls to regulate <br />second units. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Recommends approval of Case RZ-98-03, the application of the City of <br />Pleasanton to amend the Pleasanton Municipal Code to modify the process for <br />reviewing second units to read as set forth in Exhibit "A," attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
