CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01-101 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FY 2001/02 YOUTH <br />MASTER PLAN IMPLEMENTATION GOALS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 4, 1998, the City Council and Pleasanton Unified School District Board of <br /> Trustees approved the development of a Youth Master Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a 30-member Steering Committee was established to design the various elements <br /> of the Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Youth Master Plan was adopted by the City Council and Board of Trustees in <br /> June 2001; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />A City/School District Liaison Committee was formed to annually establish <br />implementation goals and prioritize goals and objectives in each of the six major <br />themes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Liaison Committee presented its recommendations to the City and District on <br />August 7, 2001 and both staffs held a meeting on August 27, 2001 to discuss <br />implementation strategies; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The City Council approves the Fiscal Year 2001/02 Youth Master Plan <br />Implementation Goals, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein <br />by this reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
