CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01-037 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE CITY ARTS FACILITY <br />PLAN AND ACCEPTING THE CITY ARTS MARKETING <br />STUDY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Civic Arts and Parks and Recreation Commissions recommended that the City <br /> Council adopt a Pleasanton Public Arts Facilities Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of May 8, 2001, the City Cotmcil received the report of the Director <br />of Parks and Community Services (SR 01:107) regarding a City Arts Facility Plan <br />and arts marketing study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after reviewing the information and considering public testimony, Council deemed <br /> it appropriate to adopt the proposed facility plan and marketing study; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Adopts the Pleasanton Public Arts Facilities Plan, and endorses the Plan's option <br />for phased, multi-site development scenarios and the detailed future feasibility <br />study for the proposed 800-seat theater, and accepts the Arts Marketing Study. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON MAY 8, 2001 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
