RESOLUTION NO.__~ RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT TO CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT, ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1964-2, VINTAGE HILLS, CITY OF PLEASANTON, ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton has heretofore on the 10th day of August, 1964, entered into a agreement with LEO F. PIAZZA PAVING CO. CORPORATION for the con- struction of improvements in Assessment District No. 1964-2; and WHEREAS, the' time of completion of said work will expire on August 31, 1965; and WHEREAS, the work remaining to be done cannot be completed within said time and the contractor has requested extension of time until November 23, 1965, and has offered to enter into an amendment of said construction agreement with additional guarantees that the work will be completed within the extended time, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California as follows: That the amendment to the agreement attached hereto and by reference incorporated herein is hereby approved and the Mayor of this City is hereby authorized to execute said amendment. That the extension of time provided for in said amendment is subject to execution of said amendment by the contractor on or before August 31, 1965. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 23rd day of August, 1965, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen ~bies, Harding, McWilliams and Vice Mayor Cairo NOES: Councilmen None ABSENT: Councilmen County, California.
