JOHN STREET, <br />IN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, FOR PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES, <br />BY THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AND AUTHORIZING INSTITUTION <br />OF EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS FOR ACQUIRING AND POSSESS- <br />ING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY THEREFOR. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton <br />that it hereby finds and determines and hereby declares as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> 1. The public interest, convenience, need and necessity <br />require the acquisition, construction and completion by the City <br />of Pleasanton of certain public improvements for public street <br />purposes, to-wit: The acquisition, extension and improvement, <br />including all structures and work and improvements reasonably <br />~ecessary and appurtenant thereto, of proposed Schween Street, <br />southerly of St. John Street, Pleasanton, California. <br /> <br /> 2. The public interest, convenience, need and necessity <br />require the acquisition by the City of Pleasanton, for and in <br />connection with said public improvements, of the real property, <br />or interests in real property, hereinafter described. <br /> <br /> 3. The public interest, convenience, need and necessity <br />require that a fee simple estate, unless a lesser estate is <br />hereinafter expressly described, be taken by the City of <br /> <br />Pleasanton in and to said real property, or interests in real <br /> _ <br />property, to-wit: the Rossi property, commonly known as <br /> <br /> · 92 St. John Street, Pleasanton, California. <br /> <br /> 4. The City Attorney is hereby authorized to take any and <br /> ~11 actions necessary on behalf of the City of Pleasanton to <br /> <br /> ~cquire title to said property by eminent domain proceedings or <br />otherwise. <br /> <br /> 5.
