CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COU NY;' OF <br /> STATE 05 <br /> <br />ACCEPTING RESIGNATION AND EXPRESSING <br />APPRECIATION FOR SERVICES OF <br />COUNCILMAN RENO CAIRO <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, RENO CAIRO has submitted his resignation, <br />effective No~ember 2, 1965, from the elected office of Councilman <br />of the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, RENO CAIRO has served the City and its people <br />as a Councilman continuously from April, 1950, to November, 1965, <br />a period of some 15 years and 7 months; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, RENO CAIRO pursued his duties as Councilman, <br />Vice Mayor and Mayor of the City of Pleasanton with extraordinary <br />dedication, insight, perspective, understanding and high regard <br />for the people of the entire Pleasanton area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton <br />desires to express this appreciation, officially and individually, <br />and express this appreciation in behalf of the citizens of the <br />City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton area; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council does hereby accept with deep regret <br />the resignation of Councilman RENO CAIRO, effective November 2, <br />1965. <br /> <br /> 2.
