C.TY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CO U NTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> 65-198 <br />RE:SOLUTION NO, <br /> <br />OPPOSING PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF VALLEY <br />COM~JNITY SERVICES DISTRICT OF AREA <br />INCLUDING ANNEX NO. 24 AND OTHER LANDS <br />~O~dTflWEST OF INTERSTATE ROUTE 580 AND <br /> STATE ROUTE 21 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Valley Corm~untty Services District has filed a <br />proposed annexation with the Local Agency Formation Co~mnisston <br />of Alameda County; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a similar application for much of the same <br />territory was considered and withdrawn by the applicant recently; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said proposed annexation includes portions of the <br />City of Pleasanton Annex No. 24-B, "Foothill Road Annex ~f', the <br />validity of which is presently being considered by the Superior <br />Court of the State of California; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council does oppose the application for <br />annexation of Valley Community Services District for the area <br />south of Interstate Route 580, and generally westerly of State <br />Route 21. <br /> <br /> 2. The members of the Local Agency Formation Commission <br />of Alameda County and the officers of Alameda County are urged <br />to deny said application, except insofar as it is consistent <br />with the provisions of the Joint Sewage Agreement for "Highland <br />Oaks". <br /> 3.
