The time and place is hereby fixed when and where any person owning real property within the uninhabited territory dess- cribed above and proposed to be annexed to the City of Pleasantoon and having any objections thereto, may appear before the Council. 1 and show cause why such annexation should not take place, to witt: AT THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, pLEASANTON WOMEN'S CLUB BUILDING, REGALIA AVENUE, KOTTINGER VILLAGE, PLEASANTON, CALIFORNIA, AT 8:00 P.M., MONDAY, MAY 9, 1966. Such protest must be filed in writing, and may be filed at any time before the hour set for hearing objections to the proposed annexation, and shall state the name or names of the owner or owners of property affected, and the description and area of such property, in general terms. 7. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause a copy of this Resolution to be published at least twice, but not oftener than once a week, in "THE TIMES", a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton; and! to be published outside the City but within the County of Alame~d where said territory is located. Both of said publications sha%ll be completed at least twenty (20) days prior to the date set fo%r hearing. 8. The City Clerk is further authorized and directed to cause written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed t~o each person to whom land within the territory is assessed in thee last equalized County assessment roll available, at the addressee shown on said assessment roll or known to the Clerk, and to any; person who has filed his name and address and the designation of the lands in which he has an interest, either legal or equitable, with the Clerk.
