CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> I~E:~OLLITION NO,_ 66-90 <br /> <br />PROCEDURE FOR ANNUAL REVIEW <br /> OF GENERAL PLAN <br /> <br /> 1. Upon recommendation of the City Planning Commission, <br />the appropriate staff members, Planning Commission and City <br />Council shall commence an annual review of the General Plan for <br />the City of Pleasanton, with procedure fixed as follows: <br /> <br /> a. On approximately January 1 of each year, the <br />Planning staff shall begin a review of the Plan, including <br />an evaluation of all General Plan amendment requests <br />received during the year, C~uncil or Comm?sion suggestionss <br />for revision, and the staff s recommendations regarding <br />amendments. <br /> <br /> b. This review is completed by April 1, and is trans- <br />mitted to the Planning Commission for study. <br /> <br /> c. Planning Commission shall review the above study <br />between April 1 and May 15, and shall transmit its <br />recommendations, after public hearings, to the City Councitl <br /> <br /> d. The City Council shall review the Planning Commis- <br />sion'S recommendations between May 15 and July 1, with any <br />amendments to be completed during July. <br /> <br /> 2. The staff, Planning Commission and City Council shall <br />exercise caution to prevent the above procedure from becoming <br />too rigid.
