CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />I~E:~OLUTIoN NO, 66-97 <br /> <br />FIXING SALARIES FOR CITY EMPLOYEES <br /> FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1966-67 <br /> <br />RESOLVED: <br /> <br />The City Council does hereby fix salary, benefits and <br /> <br />classifications for City employees for the Fiscal Year 1966-67, <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />1. An increase of 5% for all full-time authorized <br /> positions, effective July 1, 1966. <br /> <br />2. A total 20% increase effective July 1, 1966, for the <br /> position of Planning Director. <br /> <br />An additional 2-1/2% increase on July 1, 1966, for <br />the position of Senior Police Clerk, in order to <br />bring the salary range for this position up to a <br />level comparable with that of the new recommended <br />position of Secretary. <br /> <br />An additional 2-1/2% increase on July 1, 1966, for the <br />positions of Police Chief, Fire Chief, Director of <br />Public Works and Senior Building Inspector. <br /> <br />An increase of 2-1/2% for all full-time, authorized <br />positions on January 1, 1967, with the exception of <br />the position of Director of Planning. <br /> <br />Creation of the position of Maintenance Man-Leadman <br />in the Streets and Storm Drains Division, Public <br />Works Department, at a salary 2-1/2% higher than <br />the Maintenance Man salary. <br /> <br />DATED: June 29, 1966. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />WARREN R.
