CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01-097 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SELECTING A PERMANENT NAME FOR <br />THE NEIGHBORHOOD PARK AND STAGING AREA IN <br />"THE PRESERVE" <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a 14.88-acre open space park is located on Laurel Creek Drive in "The Preserve", a <br /> Presley Homes development; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a staging area of less than one acre in overall size provides access to the public <br /> trail in the area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission held a public heating at its meeting of <br /> July 12, 2001 and adopted a motion recommending the permanent names for these <br /> two areas; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br />Section 2: <br />Section 3: <br /> <br />The City Council selects the name Laurel Creek Park for the neighborhood park in <br />"The Preserve". <br /> <br />The City Council selects the name "The Preserve Staging Area" for the staging <br />area for the access area to the public trail. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
