PLANNING COIVlMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2000-61 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF JOSEPH AND <br />MARICELLA BARONE FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED <br />UNDER CASE PDR-94 <br /> <br />Joseph and Maricella Barone have applied for design review approval to <br />allow the construction of a permanent parking area for Barone's <br />Restaurant located at 493 St. John Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-C (Central Commercial) District, Downtown <br /> Revitalization District; and <br /> <br />at its duly noticed public hearing of November 8, 2000, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the California <br /> Environmental Quality Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposal for the permanent <br /> parking area for the Barones Restaurant is appropriate for the site. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Approves Case PDR-94, the application of Joseph and Maricella Barone <br />for design review approval to allow the construction of a permanent <br />parking area for Barone's Restaurant located at 493 St. John Street, <br />subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made <br />part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and <br /> adoption unless appealed prior to that time. <br /> <br /> <br />
