PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2000-59 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL FOR THE ALVISO <br />ADOBE PARK, AS FILED UNDER CASE PDR-62 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton has applied for design review approval of a historic <br />community park on approximately 6.07 acres of undeveloped parkland <br />located at 3465 Foothill Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - LDR (Low <br /> Density Residential) District; and <br /> <br />at its duly noticed public hearing of September 27, 2000, the Planning <br />Commission, after considering all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this application, approved <br />the Negative Declaration prepared for this application; and <br /> <br />the Planning Commission determined that the design details and the <br />proposed uses for the Alviso Adobe Community Park are appropriate for <br />maintaining the historic and rural qualifies of the site, and that the park is <br />compatible with the adjacent uses and will provide an important amenity <br />for the entire community. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Se~ion 1. <br /> <br />Approves Case PDR-62, the application of the City of Pleasanton for <br />design review approval of a historic community park on approximately <br />6.07 acres of undeveloped parkland located at 3465 Foothill Road; and <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and <br /> adoption unless appealed prior to that time. <br /> <br /> <br />
