PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2000-55 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DETERMINING THE APPLICATION OF THE GRADING LIMITS IN <br />CHAPTER 18.84 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE TO THE GREY EAGLE SUBDIVISION <br />(PUD-82-10) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in March 1983, the City Council approved PUD-82-10, a 28-1ot single-family <br /> development on 48 acres in southeast Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Allen Roberts is proposing to construct an approximately 6,500-square-foot, two- <br />story house on the remaining undeveloped lot in the subdivision (Lot #12 located <br />at 24 Grey Eagle Court; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Director determined that the proposed house did not conform to the <br /> PUD development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the issue was referred to the Planning Commission for its determination; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its duly noticed public hearing of September 13, 2000 the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning the proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Commission determined that given the steepness of the Lot #12 (24 <br />Grey Eagle Court), a split-pad design shall be required in order to meet the PUD <br />requirements; the future home for this lot shall be located toward the front of the <br />lot; and the applicant shall apply for a variance to the 7;500-square-foot grading <br />limit. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />~¢tion 1. <br /> <br />Determines that the a split-pad design shall be required for Lot #12 within the <br />Grey Eagle subdivision (24 Grey Eagle Court) in order to meet the PUD <br />requirements; the future home for this lot shall be located toward the front oftbe <br />lot (by Grey Eagle Court); and the 7,500-square-foot grading limit shall apply to <br />this lot, and the applicant shall apply for a variance to the grading limit. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
