PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2000-50 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR THE APPLICATION OF MITCHELL PEREIRA FOR A MAJOR MODIFICATION <br />TO A PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-81-28-4M <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />MItchell Pereira has applied for a major modification of an existing PUD <br />Development Plan to allow the consm~tion of an approximately 7,638-square-foot, <br />two-story office/commercial building, located on a portion of the existing <br />parking/landscape area of the Pleasanton Station development on the north side of <br />West Angela Street approximately 200 feet east of Main Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - C-O (Commercial- <br /> Office) District and Downtown Revitalization District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 23, 2000, the Planning Commission received a proposed <br /> negative declaration prepared for Case UD-81-28-4M; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the public was given the opportunity to comment on the enviromnental impacts of <br /> the proposal; and <br /> <br />the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br />applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations; end <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the proposed project would not <br /> have any significant adverse effects on the environment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission further finds that the proposed project will have no <br /> potential for adverse impacts on the site's wildlife. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for Case <br />PUD-81-244M, the application of Mitchell Pereira for a major modification of an <br />existing PUD Development Plan to allow the construction of an approximately <br />7,638-square-foot, two-story office/commercial building, located on a portion of <br />the existing parking/landscape area of the Pleasanton Station development on the <br />north side of West Angela Street approximately 200 feet east of Main Street. <br /> <br /> <br />
