CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 01-086 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE COST ACCOUNTING <br />REPORT FOR TIlE 2001 WEED ABATEMENT PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an itemized written report showing the cost of nuisance abatement on a lot by lot <br /> basis throughout the City of Pleasanton for those lots upon or in front of which <br /> weeds existed and were not abated voluntarily by the owners thereof, was <br /> presented before the City Council at its meeting of August 7, 2001. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The costs of the abatement are deemed by law to constitute a special assessment <br />against and a lien upon the parcel of property and shall be added by the Treasurer- <br />Tax Collector to the next regular tax bill for each parcel as stated on the written <br />report received from the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND REGULARLY <br />ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING <br />HELD ON AUGUST 7, 2001 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Ayala, Campbell, Dennis, Michelotti, and Mayor Pico <br />None <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Michael H.
