CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 01-085 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION WITH <br />METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION FOR <br />ALLOCATION OF TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT <br />FUNDS FOR THE BIKE PATH PROJECT ON THE ALAMO <br />CANAL/ARROYO DE LA LAGUNA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) requires a resolution of <br /> support for Transportation Development Act (TDA) applications; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Alamo Canal/Arroyo de la Lagtma will assist the pedestrian and bicycle travel; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City staff, together with bicycle advisory committee members have reviewed <br /> various projects; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this project is categorically exempt under the requirements of the California <br /> Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The Pleasanton City Council authorizes submittal of the project application and <br />subsequent submittal of clairas for payment. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
