CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01-082 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL AND APPROVING <br />THE APPLICATION OF PATRICK AND DEBRA <br />PICKERELL FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL FOR AN <br />APPROXIMATELY 20,982-SQ. FT., ONE-AND TWO-STORY <br />BUILDING LOCATED AT 3283 BERNAL AVENUE, AS <br />FILED UNDER CASE PDR-126 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of May 23, 2001, the Planning Commission approved Case <br />PUD-126, the application of Debra and Patrick Pickerell for design review <br />approval for an approximately 20,982 sq. ft., one- and two-story commercial <br />building on a 1.44+ acre site located at 3283 Bemal Avenue, subject to certain <br />conditions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - C (Commercial); <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal Code, the City Council <br /> appealed the decision; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Council on July 17, 2001, at which time <br /> all pertinent testimony and documents were reviewed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a Negative Declaration was prepared for the development plan of the subject site <br />(PUD-88-12) including the typical architectural and site designs for individual lots, <br />and there are no changed circumstances or new information requiring additional <br />enviromental review; therefore, this application does not constitute a new project <br />under CEQA and no new environmental documents accompany this application; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has found that the project is consistent with PUD-88-12 as well as <br />with the City's General Plan and the building is appropriately designed for the <br />Stanley Business Park; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
