Water Use Policy 3: Relocation of Existing Line. If necessary for <br />construction of new development on the Central and Western Areas, relocate the <br />existing water transmission line serving the Castlewcod golf course and <br />residential area to an alternative alignment, as shown in Figure 5-1. <br /> <br />GUIDELINES: <br /> <br />3.1 No disruption of water delivery to Casflewood should occur during <br /> the relocation process. <br /> <br />WASTEWATER I~q_ANAGEMENT OBJECTIVE <br />TO EFi~ICIENTLY UTILIZE SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT AND DISPOSAL CAPACITY. <br /> <br />Wsstewater Policy 1: MinimiT~ Sews~e Flows. Minimize sewage flows to the <br />DSRSD Treatment Plant by incorporating water conserving fixtures into building <br />designs and using best available control technology to minimize inflow and <br />infiltration into sewer mains. <br /> <br />Wastewater Policy 2:. On-Site Sewer System. Install an on-site sewage <br />collection system as shown on Figure 5-2, Wastewater System, consistent with <br />City design standards. Phase I development shall include that portion of the <br />system shown in Figure 5.2. <br /> <br />Wastewater Policy 3: Relocation of Existing Line. If necessary for <br />construction of new development on the Western Area, relocate the existing <br />sewer main and pump station to an alternative site that provides adequate access. <br /> <br />GUIDELINES: <br /> <br />No disruption of existing wastewater flows should occur during any <br />relocation process. <br /> <br />Should the line need not be moved, the developer of Parcel 2 shall <br />coordinate with the City the possible City relocation of the main to a <br />location within the Parcel 2 local street system. <br /> <br />5-4 <br /> <br /> <br />
