Resolution No. PC-2000-41 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />As conditioned, the proposed park will not be detrimental to the public health, <br />safety, and welfare, nor will it pose a threat to surroundin~ properties or <br />improvements. As proposed, the park will provide adequate parking for the active <br />uses on site and the traffic generated will have a minimal impact on the Level-of- <br />Service of surrounding intersections. With the expansion of the park, daily police <br />patrols will increase in frequency to mitigate any potential safety impacts. <br /> <br />The proposed conditional use will comply with each of the applicable <br />pmvisious of this chapter. <br /> <br />The proposed use will comply with all provisions and requirements of the City's <br />zoning ordinance. <br /> <br />the Planning Commission determined that the expansion of Val Vista Park would be <br />complementary to the existing uses in the area and that the design concepts will <br />result in a functional and atlractive facility. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Recommends approval of Case PCUP-12 and PDR-46, the application of the City of <br />Pleasanton for a conditional use permit for a 24-acre park and design review <br />approval for the expansion of the Val Vista Park located at 6701 Payne Road, <br />subject to the conditions shown on "Exhibit B," attached hereto and made a part of <br />this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
