Resolution No. PC-2000-41
Page 2

As conditioned, the proposed park will not be detrimental to the public health,
safety, and welfare, nor will it pose a threat to surroundin~ properties or
improvements. As proposed, the park will provide adequate parking for the active
uses on site and the traffic generated will have a minimal impact on the Level-of-
Service of surrounding intersections. With the expansion of the park, daily police
patrols will increase in frequency to mitigate any potential safety impacts.

The proposed conditional use will comply with each of the applicable
pmvisious of this chapter.

The proposed use will comply with all provisions and requirements of the City's
zoning ordinance.

the Planning Commission determined that the expansion of Val Vista Park would be
complementary to the existing uses in the area and that the design concepts will
result in a functional and atlractive facility.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON
RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING:

Section 1.

Recommends approval of Case PCUP-12 and PDR-46, the application of the City of
Pleasanton for a conditional use permit for a 24-acre park and design review
approval for the expansion of the Val Vista Park located at 6701 Payne Road,
subject to the conditions shown on "Exhibit B," attached hereto and made a part of
this case by reference.

Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
