PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2000-13 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING CASE PAP-02, THEREBY UPHOLDING THE ZONING <br />ADMINISTRATOR'S DETERMINATION OF THE ALLOWABLE LOCATION FOR <br />SOLID FENCING ADJACENT TO THE NORTHERN SIDE LOT LINE OF THE <br />PROPERTY LOCATED AT 6213 DETJEN COURT <br /> <br />the Zoning Administrator determined that the solid fence installed in the northern <br />side yard of the property located at 6213 Detjen Court extended approximately 19 <br />feet beyond the graded building pad and does not comply with the subdivision's <br />fencing regulations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property owner filed an appeal of the Zoning Administrator's determination; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD-LDR/OS (Planned Unit Development - Low <br /> Density Residential/Open Space) District; and <br /> <br />at its duly noticed public hearing of February 9, 2000 the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />actions of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); therefore, no environmental <br />document was prepared for this proposal; and <br /> <br />the Planning Commission determined that the last 19 feet of solid fencing <br />adjacent to the northern side lot line of the property located at 6213 Detjen Court <br />must be removed, and, if fencing is desired, replaced with open view fencing <br />installed in conformance with the fencing guidelines stated in the "Fire Protection <br />& Landscape Guidelines for the Preserve." <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Denies Case PAP-02, thereby upholding the Zoning Administrator's <br />determination of the allowable location for solid fencing adjacent to the northern <br />side lot line of the property located at 6213 Detjen Court. <br /> <br /> <br />
