PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2000-33 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE <br />PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE TO AMEND CHAPTERS 18.08 AND 18.44 TO MAKE <br />"BIRTHING CENTERS" CONDITIONALLY PERMITTED USES IN THE CENTRAL <br />COIVflVIERCIAL (C-C) DISTRICT, AS FILED UNDER CASE PRZ-03 <br /> <br />Tri-Valley Ob/Gyn/Dr. Michael Bleecker, M.D. and Beah Haber, CNM have <br />applied to amend Chapters 18.08 and 18.44 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code <br />(Commercial Districts) to make "birthing centers" conditionally permitted uses in <br />the Central Commercial (C-C) DisU'ict; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its duly noticed public hearing of June 14, 2000 the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning the amendment to the Municipal Code; and <br /> <br />the Planning Commission determined that this use can be satisfactorily located in <br />the mixed use, C-C zoning district as long as the proposed operation is reviewed <br />and the appropriate conditions are added to minimize any impacts on surrounding <br />land uses. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Sectioo 1. <br /> <br />Recommend approval of Case PRZ-03, the application of Tri-Valley Ob/GyrffDr. <br />Michael Bleecker, M.D. and Beah Haber, CNM to amend Chapters 18.08 and <br />18.44 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code (Commercial Districts) to make <br />"birthing centers" conditionally permitted uses in the Central Commercial (C-C) <br />District as set forth in Exhibit "A," attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br />this reference. <br /> <br />Sectioo 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
