Proposed deletions are shown in ......... and underline. <br /> <br />WEST PLEASANTON OIzERLA y F~T~-L <br /> ~ DESIGN GUIDELINES <br /> <br />New development along the base of Pleasanton and Main Ridges should complement the <br />natural o~flc woodland and grassland habitat while preserving views of the ridges. These <br />guidelines have been developed to supplement the West Plea, anton~ <br />~ Overlay District regulations and to assist the City in ensuring that new <br />development achieves thc Ggeneral _Pt_~lan goals and policies for this area. <br /> <br />I. Building Design <br /> <br /> Structures should be designed to be compatible with the rural, open setting <br />comprised of oak woodland and grassland habitats. House design should reflect its <br />setting not only with respect to its vegetative setting but also to its topographical setting. <br />In particular, hillside lots should be built uggn in a manner which reflects the sloping <br />terrain, integrating the house into sloped areas.
