PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2000-21 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FY 2000-01 PROJECTS INCLUDED IN THE <br />FIVE-YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br /> <br />one of the duties of the Planning Commission is to investigate and make <br />recommendations to the City Council regarding the means of implementing the <br />General Plan so that it will serve as an effective guide for the efficient expenditure <br />of public funds relating to the subjects addressed in the General Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission had previously determined that the Five-Year Capital <br /> Improvemem Program (CIP) for the fiscal years 1999/00 through 2003/04 was <br /> consistent with the City of Pleasanton General Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 22, 2000, the Planning Commission conducted the <br /> mid-term review of the CIP. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves the projects included in the Capital Improvement Program for FY 2000/01 <br /> with the following recommendations: <br /> <br />Replace two of the traffic lanes along Owens Drive with on-street parking to <br />provide alternatives for BART parking. <br />Provide bike lanes throughout the Hacienda Business Park. <br />Open the gates on the gravel roads that mn along the Arroyo from BART to <br />West Las Positas to allow for bike and pedestrian access. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
