L Main Structure Colors. Ailproposed colors should be compatible with <br />~d]ac~nt and nearby homes and should blend in with the background upon which thev <br />are viewed. All proposed color palettes should be reviewed outdoors under natural light <br />using a value scale and colored Plexiglas. Paint colors should be limited to fiat and <br />Iow sheen finishes. <br /> <br /> 2~ Main Structure Roof Colors. Roofs shah be a dark value color o£ brown(s), <br />red(s), and/or gray(s). The color value shah be a minimum of 70%. Materials shall <br />have a ndnimum of retlectivit~ (Le., matte finishes). <br /> <br />3~ Main Structure Exterior Base Wall Colors. Exterior base wall colors shah be <br /> <br />graved down in appearance (ge., low chroma and color intensity). Color value shall be <br />a minimum of 40%. Yellow-based colors shall be avoided. Cool temperature colors <br />(e. lt., ttreens and blues) shall be encouraged, but muted darker values of graF, brown, <br />and red tones are acceptable. <br /> <br />4. Main Structure Exterior Trim Colors. White as a trim color shah be <br /> <br /> discouraged <br /> <br /> 5. Accessor~ Structure Colors. The base, roof, and trim color(s) of all accesso~_ <br />structt~res shall match the base, roof, and trim color (respectively) of the main <br />structure. <br /> <br /> II. Fencing <br /> <br /> Op~ fencing types shall include corral-type, wire mesh, wrought iron, or <br />other similar designs. Perimeter fencing, should be integrated into the landscaping <br />d~sign. A variety of fencing types along Foothill Road shall be encouraged. <br /> <br /> III. Lighting <br /> <br /> Street lighting shall be designed to minimize the light and glare as seen <br />from Foothill Road and the valley floor. Lighting design preferred would utilize low <br />poles with cut off fixtures and walkway type lights. AH street light standards shall be <br />designed to have a country/rural appearance.
