RESOLUTION NO. 66'!40 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND'CALLING <br /> FOR CONSTRUCTION BIDS, ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 64-2, <br /> V~..NTAGE HILI~., CITY OF PLEASANTON, ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, On the 6th day.of September, .1966, the City <br /> Council of ~he City of.Pleasan~on 'adopted its Resolution Ordering <br /> Changes in the work to be done.in Assessment District No. 64~!2, <br /> Vintage Hill~, which'changes include.the installation of certain <br /> additional improvements on Kottinger Drive; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, MacKAY & SOMPS, Engineer of Work for said assess- <br /> ment district, was directed to prepare plans and specifications for <br /> said work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said plans and specifications have been prepared <br /> by the Engineer of Work and filed with the City Clerk; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the "' <br /> City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That said plans and specifications are hereby approved; <br />2. That this City Clerk hereby orders that bids shall be <br />received for the construction of said improvements in accordance with <br />said approved plans and specifications on the 10th da3 of October,, <br />1966, at 2:00 P.M. of said day. Said bids or proposals shall be <br />delivered to the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton on or before <br />2:00 P.M. of the lOth day of October, 1966, at the office of the City <br />Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, located in the City Hall, Pleasanton, <br />California, which said time and place are hereby fixed as the time <br />and place of a public meeting at which said bids will be publicly <br />opened, examined and declared by the City Clerk of the City of <br />Pleasanton. Said bids after being publicly opened, examined add <br />declared will be calculated by the Engineer of Work and their report <br />returned to the City Clerk and the report of the results of the bidding <br />and calculations of the Engineer of Work Will be reported to the City <br />Council. <br /> <br /> The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all <br />proposals or bids should it deem this necessary for the public good, <br />and also the bid of any bidder who has been delinquent or unfaith- <br />ful in 9ny former contract with the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />OP, IGINAL <br /> <br /> <br />
