RESOLUTION NO. 66-147 RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California, did, on the 29th day of August, 1966, order the improvements to be made in Assessment District No. 64~2, Vintage Hills, City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California, as Resolution of Intention and in the Resolution in the Work to be Done in said assessment district; described in ~he Ordering Changes and WHEREAS, by resolution adopted on the 26th day of September, 19~6, it was directed that bids be called for a portion of said improvement work, and that the time fixed for receiving sealed bids or proposals was the 10th day of October, 1966, at the hour of 2:00 o'clock P.M. of said day; and WHEREAS, Notice Inviting Sealed bids was duly published in the time and manner required by law; and WHEREAS, all bids having been publicly opened, examined an~ declared pertaining to the doing a portion of the improvements deacribed in the Resolution of Intention and in the Resolution Ordering Changes in the Work to be Done, which said resolutions are hereby expressly referred to for a description of said work and improvements and for all other particulars relative to the proceed- trigs under said Resolution of Intention; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California, hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that awards b~dder, the contract for said improvements to wit: SILVA BROS. CONTRACTORS, herein mentioned and hereby to the lowest responsible a corporation, at the prices named in the bid of said bidder on file in the of the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton; and office -1-
